Neighbourhood Watch

This message relates to police log 433 of the 16th July 2010. A number of males described as "Irish" in a white van have been reported in Exeter today, 16th July. They were aggressively offering building or gardening work. Please be very suspicious of these persons, we expect any work taken on by them will be very expensive and of poor quality.

Wembury Development

A further proposed development for Wembury (the house across Taddyforde boundary by the arch) has been submitted to Exeter City Council. (It was cunningly submitted just in time for Christmas when we were all likely to be pre-occupied.)

The proposal includes a three story block of flats immediately adjacent to our boundary and some single story dwellings in the garden.

Ann has done an impression of the plan and it is on the Noticeboard. As well as the visual intrusion, she believes that there may well be insufficient parking provided.

Anyone wishing to comment on this proposal has until 22 January 2010 to do so.

Write to Roger Clotworthy, Senior Area Planning Officer, Civic Centre. EX1 1NN and quote reference number 09/1967/03.
